The St. Francis de Sales School for Pastoral Ministry
Recognizing that all are called to share their God-given gifts to build up the reign of God, the Saint Francis de Sales School for Pastoral Ministry is a three-year program in which participants not only learn about our Faith, but also discern their gifts and learn how best to share these gifts with others.
Following this program, students will have the opportunity to specialize their studies in a particular area of ministry or area of interest.
Topics for Study in the Program
The School meets one Saturday per month for three years, taking a break during July. Classes are held at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Berkeley. Mass is offered in the church at 8:00 am, and the first morning class session begins at 9:00 am. A lunch break is given from 12:00 - 1:00 pm and the afternoon session is from 1 to 3:30 pm.
