St. Agnes Parish Office – Secretary

Responsible for secretarial and related office services for members of the parish staff and various other committees and boards.  Candidate must also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Windows XP and the Internet.  Accounting experience preferred.  Must know Microsoft Publisher for weekly bulletin preparation.  Other duties include answering phones, greeting visitors, type or word process letters, reports, memos, sacramental certificates.  Maintain parish website, maintain parish offering envelope system, sacramental record keeping system.  Secretary should be bilingual in Spanish.

Hours:  9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Monday thru Friday

Position begins:  Immediately

Salary:  $16.64/hour.  S5-Non-exempt.  Includes Benefits

St. Perpetua Parish in Lafayette has an opening for Director of Music Ministries.  Candidate should have both organ and piano proficiency (Rodgers Trillium 967 and  Yamaha grand piano).  Responsibilities include:  accompanying the weekend liturgies, directing the choir, ensemble and children’s choir, working in collaboration with the pastoral staff and liturgy committee to plan and carry out the liturgical life of the parish.   

Salary Range/Level:  M-4 on the Diocesan Scale. 

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience,    according to the guidelines of the Diocese of Oakland.
