Bereavement Workshop offered

 

November 10th (part I - St Joseph the Worker in Berkeley)

November 17th (part II - Cathedral Conference Center, Oakland)

9:00 am to 3:30 pm, both sessions

This is a practical workshop – it will train a parish team to be a source of education, comfort and support to those who have suffered a loss.

Cost is $25/person - parish 'team discounts' are available. To keep costs down, please bring a sack lunch (you will have a ‘working lunch’).

Space is limited - please register early

The workshop will be led by Sandy Heinisch.  With extensive experience as a grief minister/counselor and trainer with the National Catholic Ministry to the Bereaved, Sandy is also a trained nurse (35 years) and nursing instructor (over 20 years). Married for nearly 50 years, she is a mother with two surviving children and five grandchildren.
