Economic Equity
“It is right to struggle against an unjust economic system that does not uphold the priority of the human being over capital and land.” Centesimus Annus, John Paul II, 1991
The Diocese of Oakland supports organizations and activities that address the root causes of poverty, empower all people to be agents of their own destinies, and protect the inherent dignity of human labor.
