Mission Advancement
The Mission Advancement Department serves as a resource for parishes, schools and agencies in the planning and implementation of development programs and capital and endowment campaigns. Financial and other support is essential to fund the many pastoral, social service and educational programs throughout the Diocese of Oakland. The Mission Advancement Department also oversees the annual Bishop’s Appeal, the annual development effort which supports vocations, retired clergy, and numerous other programs administered by Chancery staff and throughout the Diocese of Oakland.
