Welcome to DEC...

On June 19, 2009 we celebrated the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and it also kicked off the Year of the Priest! Manhattan Declaration & Lecture Series

Read and sign it today!
Christians, when they have lived up to the highest ideals of their faith, have defended the weak and vulnerable and worked tirelessly to protect and strengthen vital institutions of civil society, beginning with the family.

The original signers of the Manhattan Declaration are Orthodox, Catholic, and evangelical Christians who have united at this hour to reaffirm fundamental truths about justice and the common good, and to call upon our fellow citizens, believers and non-believers alike, to join us in defending them. Join Bishop Salvatore Cordileone and thousands of others! Sign the declaration

UPCOMING EVENT: A lecture series which will introduce participants to the Manhattan Declaration and the principles and specific issues behind it. We highly recommend this formation opportunity for you to hear first hand why over 300,000 Catholic, Orthodox and Evangelical Christians have signed the Declaration in defense of certain first principles of the common good. The series begins January 9, 2010 and continues through August 2010 at various locations in the Bay Area. Please see the St. Anthony of Padua Institute web page for more information. View flyer here
