Safe Environment Training Opportunities

Safe Environment training requirements can be met in two ways: completion of Diocesan online course, or attendance at a parish/school on site training.  Please ask your parish or school how they have chosen to meet that requirement.

A. If your parish or school has chosen to offer the Online Training, please go to this link and select the Catholic Dioceses button and then select Diocese of Oakland.  This training takes 60 to 90 minutes.  You do not need to submit anything to the Diocese as we can access this website and note your participation.

THERE IS A COST TO THE PARISH AND/OR SCHOOL FOR THE ONLINE COURSE
SO PLEASE ONLY UTILIZE IT IF THE PARISH/SCHOOL HAS NOTIFIED YOU THAT YOU MAY.

B. If your parish or school has chosen to offer on site trainings, please get the dates from your parish and/or school.  This training takes 60 to 90 minutes. There are some dates that parishes/schools have opened to those outside of their parish/school.  Please see the Onsite Training dates listed below.
