Religious Awards for Scouts
Religious awards are offered to scouts of all ages. They are a supplement to religious education programs of the Church. In earning the awards, scouts explore their faith in relationship to church, family and friends in a scout context. After completing the award, the scout is awarded the medal at a special ceremony at the Diocesan "Celebration of Scouting" or in their local parish.
Awards are earned by completing projects outlined in awards books available for each award. Awards are earned by working through a religious awards counselor.
Please see the links on this page for information about specific awards.
