Athletic Directors should verify ALL CYO Coaches are certified under the Diocese of Oakland Safe Environment Training. Contact your parish's Safe Environment Coordinator with a list of your coaches to determine verification status.

Steps to be certified Include:

1. Virtus Registration & Training (needs to be renewed every three years)
2. Finger-Printing & Background Check (Live Scan Paperwork download) (only needs to be done once)
3. Sign the CYO Code of Conduct
