CYO Sports back in 2022 - 2023!
CYO Sports is playing again this year!:
The individual sports pages of this website will be updated to provide detailed information for each of the sports seasons. To sign up to play, contact your local parish or Catholic school CYO athletic director.
CYO continues to follow state and local mandates along with CYO Covid policies to keep our players, coaches and families safe.
There was great joy last season in the return of games in our local parish commuities. CYO sports is possible through the dedication of our many players, coaches, athletic directors, league officers, game officials and volunteers.
Please continue to pray for those affected by the pandemic for victims of violence, and for our children to resume healthy, normal lives..
"Sports in the community can be a great missionary tool, where the church is close to every person to help them become better and to meet Jesus Christ."
"Sport is a human activity of great value, able to enrich people's lives. As far as the Catholic Church is concerned she is working in the world of sport to bring the joy of the Gospel, the inclusive and unconditional love of God for all human beings."
– Pope Francis
"The Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), through the vehicle of sports, provides youth with an opportunity to practice Christian attitudes and responsibilities and to become friends with other children throughout the diocese. CYO activities should be examples of the meaning of Christian sportsmanship." --CYO Code of Conduct
