Advent Bible Study on the Bible and Migration Dec 9, 2025 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

You will learn and faith share about the central role of migration in the Bible. Explore the Old Testament as Israel’s journey with YHWH through cycles of forced migration and return, including Adam and Eve’s expulsion from Eden, the Exodus, and Israel’s exile and return from Babylon. Learn about the echoes of Exodus in the life of Jesus the Migrant and about the role of migrants in the early church. Deacon Bob Lassalle-Klein, Professor of Theology @ SCU will lead.

Two Session Options:

  • In-Person—Tuesdays, 11/25-12/16 from 9:15-10:45 am @ St. Lawrence
  • On Zoom—Mondays, 11/24, 12/1, 12/15 & Tuesday, 12/9 at 7 pm
