“The Courage of Sacrifice” tells the story of Don Holleder and the lessons learned “on the fields of friendly strife.” An All-American and War Hero, Major Holleder was the consummate teammate and a selfless leader who always put himself second for the “good of the team.” His story continues to inspire generations of leaders at the United States Military Academy. Coach Frank Allocco is a legendary local coach and inspirational speaker in the Bay Area. He is a former high school coach, founder of the popular Excel in Basketball camps and is currently Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director at the University of San Francisco. He remains a dedicated CYO volunteer and currently serves as the President of the East Diablo CYO League. Each week, he delivers an inspirational message for players, coaches and parents.
