Holy Names University Launches the HNU Parent Promise Initiative to Support Bachelor’s Degree Completion Across Generations
Holy Names University announces the HNU Parent Promise: a program that provides parents or guardians of current students the opportunity to take up to two undergraduate courses at no cost. Courses taken through the program can apply toward a bachelor’s degree at Holy Names or another institution of the student’s choice.
The HNU Parent Promise is part of the roll-out of the University’s Academic Strategic Plan, which addresses the needs of today’s students, many of whom are returning to college with work and life experience to complete their degrees.
“Holy Names University has a long history of educating multiple generations of families," Provost and VP for Academic Affairs Sheila Smith McKoy said. "This program builds upon this, and clearly reflects our longstanding social justice mission of making education accessible.” Learn more about the HNU Parent Promise at hnu.edu/admissions-aid/the-hnu-parent-promise/
