Novena for Mental Health October 1, 2025

By: Diocese of Oakland

St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Health & Mental Health Ministry presents a video recorded reading presentation of the Novena for Mental Health. This novena was created for the National Catholic Mental Health Campaign by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops for October 10 (World Mental Health Day) to October 18 (Feast of St. Luke).

Those who would like to gather on site at St. Charles Borromeo are invited to join us in the Pope Room on October 18 at 11am to pray the last day of the Novena together as a community. Spiritual and community resources will be available.

This Novena is offered in solidarity with those suffering from mental health challenges as well as health care professionals, family, and friends who are caring for people in need. We hope that this modest Novena will move all people to discern how God is calling them to offer greater assistance to those with mental health needs.
